Corrections

Report an error and see how PropertyStellar responds

We welcome specific, evidenced corrections. Reports that could change a property, legal, financial or location decision receive the highest priority.

What to send

Please include enough detail for us to reproduce and assess the issue:

  • the exact PropertyStellar page URL;
  • the specific sentence, figure, table row or interface result you believe is wrong;
  • why it is wrong and the date you observed it;
  • a primary source, official record or underlying evidence where possible; and
  • whether the issue could affect an active transaction or time-sensitive decision.

Use the PropertyStellar contact form and select “Data, privacy, or terms.” Do not include passwords, identity documents, payment details or private third-party information.

How a report is assessed

We compare the reported text or output with its cited source, source snapshot, calculation and current official information. A disagreement about judgement is considered separately from a verifiable factual error.

  • Material errors are corrected as soon as reasonably possible after verification.
  • Minor spelling, formatting or clarity fixes may be made without a correction note when meaning is unchanged.
  • When a source has revised its own data, we may label the change as an update rather than an original reporting error.
  • We will not change accurate information merely because it is inconvenient to a featured party.

How corrections appear

A material correction should update the page’s modified date and add a plain-language note describing what changed. The original publication date remains. If a page cannot be made reliable, it may be removed from search or withdrawn with an explanation rather than silently republished under a new URL.

Dynamic listing and market interfaces may update as their source snapshots refresh. Their freshness label and data window are part of the result and should be read together with the number shown.

Response and escalation

Submission is not proof of an error, and PropertyStellar cannot promise an individual response time. Reports with clear URLs, exact claims and primary evidence can be investigated fastest. Urgent legal notices should identify their legal basis and the specific content at issue through the same contact route.
