UAE Launches Unified Digital Package for Post-Loan Property Mortgage Release

The UAE introduces the “Release of Property Mortgage After Settlement” package, enabling beneficiaries to complete post-loan settlement procedures digitally in a single step, improving efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience.

Key Highlights:

Unified digital system launched by the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure in cooperation with Emirates Development Bank and Ajman’s Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation.
Redesigns the post-loan settlement journey, offering a single-step digital experience without the need for visits or documents.
Efficiency improvements: procedures reduced from 5 to 1, documents from 6 to 0, visits from 5 to 0, and service completion time shortened from 7 working days to 1 day.
Aligns with UAE’s Year of Community 2025 and Year of Family 2026, supporting housing stability and quality of life.
Reflects the UAE’s commitment to future-focused, citizen-centric services through digital innovation and integration.
Enhances service speed, accuracy, and reliability, while improving the overall customer journey for housing programme beneficiaries.
First phase implemented in Ajman, with integration across all emirates planned in upcoming phases.
Automated features include instant digital linkage of transactions, direct debit cancellation after settlement, and electronic notifications to all parties.
Minister Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei highlighted the package as a milestone in government service innovation and a step toward the We the UAE 2031 vision.
The initiative strengthens government integration, agility, and sustainability in public service delivery.
