The project will bring the iconic MGM and Bellagio brands to the Middle East for the first time.<\/p>\n<h3>Highlights:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>MGM Tower in Dubai is currently under construction and is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2027, according to MGM Resorts CEO William Hornbuckle.<\/li>\n<li>Hornbuckle shared the update during the company\u2019s Q1 earnings call, noting the project includes \u201call kinds of features\u201d and could potentially include gaming, pending future developments.<\/li>\n<li>MGM has a non-gaming management agreement with Wasl Hospitality to bring MGM Grand, Bellagio, and Aria brands to Dubai.<\/li>\n<li>The development sits on a 26-acre prime beachfront in Dubai and includes an MGM Hotel, MGM Residences, and a Bellagio Hotel, marking the Middle East debut of these iconic brands.<\/li>\n<li>The project stems from a 2017 agreement between Wasl Hospitality and MGM Hospitality to advise and operate the future resort.<\/li>\n<li>A high-level MGM delegation, including Chairman Paul Salem, recently met with Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in Dubai to discuss MGM\u2019s opportunities in the UAE.<\/li>\n<li>The UAE\u2019s gaming sector is projected to grow to $3\u2013$5 billion (Dh11\u201318.35 billion) in the coming years.<\/li>\n<li>The development follows the precedent set by Wynn Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, the region\u2019s first integrated gaming resort, which received regulatory approval in 2023.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MGM Resorts International has confirmed that its MGM Tower in Dubai, part of a major beachfront development with Wasl Hospitality, is on track for completion by Q3 2027.
